Jo Ann Thompson (Alto)

Jo Ann Thompson has been actively involved in Central Oregon’s music scene for the past 20 years. She served for several years as music librarian for the Cascade Chorale; she has been a member of the Central Oregon Recorder Consort for over 12 years; she has performed in several Obsidian Opera productions including “HMS Pinafore,” “The Mikado,” and “Fiddler on the Roof”; and she sings in the Chancel Choir at First Presbyterian Church of Bend under the direction of her husband, Clyde.

Jo Ann has done extensive volunteer work with the Sunriver Music Festival and has served on the board of directors of the Youth Choir of Central Oregon for more than 10 years. She works part time at Juniper Swim and Fitness Center teaching swimming to elementary and special needs students, and she recently inaugurated a new synchronized swimming program at the center.

The Central Oregon Mastersingers holds a special place in her heart. She sings in the alto section and has been instrumental in helping with publicity for concerts, ticket sales, and, most recently, the purchase of new outfits for the women in the group. 

Sally Graeber (Alto)

Web Design/Maintenance

Sally Graeber has been involved with the Central Oregon Mastersingers since its inception in 2005. She offered her volunteer services in 2007 to bring the group's mission into the technological realm, by creating and maintaining this web site - Sally's first foray into web design.

Sally has an extensive background in information systems, with 22 years of experience. Most recently, she was the IT Manager for HospiceCenter of Bend and spearheaded the implementation of its electronic medical records system in 2006. She now works from her home-based business, Sage Business Services, providing various administrative support functions, with her primary focus on accounting. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Portland State University, and has 28 years of accounting experience.

In addition to her volunteer work for the Mastersingers, Sally sings in the alto section and has a great passion for music, and in particular, for this group. She has sung with the Obsidian Opera, the Cascade Chorale, the Treblemakers, and the Cabaret Connection, as well as in various solo/ensembles at Eastmont Church.
